Seurasaari island is a public park and is free to enter all year round. Seurasaari Open-Air Museum is located on Seurasaari island. The open-air museum requires an entrance ticket, which you can buy from webshop, the ticket kiosk by the Seurasaari bridge or from the museum shop at the Iisalmi parsonage.

The museum is open during the summer season yearly from 15th May until 15th September.

Tickets 2024


Entrance tickets are required to enter the museum buildings and their yards. Tickets can be bought in the museum's webshop, as well as at the ticket kiosk in Seurasaari and the museum shop in the Iisalmi parsonage. Admission to the museum is free for those under 18 years of age. Children under the age of 7 can only enter the museum when accompanied by an adult. We accept the Museum Card and the Helsinki Card.

The museum is closed during winter.

How to get there

The museum is located in Meilahti, about 4 km from the Helsinki city centre. Bus number 24, last stop at Seurasaari.

Next to the Seurasaari bridge is a limited area of parking space (time limit 4hrs). Next to the sportsfield of Meilahti (about 1,5 km) is a free parking area.
